Why Not Just Digital Files?

With the new digital age comes a consumer demand for digital images.  This I understand and am happy to supply the high res digital files, but there is something nostalgic about piling the family onto the living room couch and passing around tangible prints and albums.

Remember going through all the boxes of 4x6 prints your mom or grandmother had in their closet and how exciting it was to be transported back in time to when the photo was originally taken?  It just isn't the same to hover around the computer and click through the photos.  An album can tell the story in ways files on a computer just can't.  Wall art such as canvas and metal prints are beautiful and are great ways to personalize your living space.  Whenever my 2 year old sees his family's portraits on the wall each day as we pass the large metal print above our living room couch, a huge grin spreads across his face as he points and exclaims "Mommy, Daddy, Bubba, Austin!"  He is so excited and we spend a couple minutes just looking at it and talking about it.

So be sure to get your digital files but also strongly consider prints, wall art and albums as a way to bring everyone together to reminisce over months and years past.
